What is your current workflow?

This is how you manage the artwork production today with a non automated, non self service process. Broadly it might look like this;

  1. Handling the request
  2. Managing the process
  3. Getting approval
  4. Distributing the artwork

This looks like it falls into four neat categories but it probably goes something like this.

  1. You get a request for a poster for a new event from a regional team.
  2. It comes in to your comms team as an email, you need to follow up with a call to find out what the specifics are.
  3. You need to send them an example for them to give you the content changes.
  4. They send you the changes they want, completely out of scope - they’ve basically ‘redesigned’ the poster
  5. You need to delegate the artwork creation to a person in your team or an external designer
  6. They make the artwork and send to you, you spot an error and send it back
  7. They resend it to you, you send on to the person who requested it
  8. They remember that they’d forgotten to tell you that the date of the event had changed
  9. So, it’s back to the designer. And ... so it goes on

We estimate the non-automated, non self service workflow takes between 2-4 hours to complete.

What could be your self service workflow ?

How you could do it with branded templates in a self service hub. It should be as easy as;

  1. Finding the template in your template hub
  2. Making the artwork from the template
  3. Downloading the artwork ready for use

We estimate the self service workflow using templates takes between 5-20 minutes to complete.

You could save yourself 1 hour and 45 minutes every single time a marketing poster is made.
